Ag Official's Visit

With Vidalia onion harvest in full swing at G&R Farms, Georgia Agriculture Commissioner Gary Black and Georgia Farm Bureau President Zippy Duval visited with Walt Dasher for a firsthand look at this year's crop. G&R Farms is Georgia's oldest and largest grower of world famous Vidalia onions. G&R planted 1,300 acres in Vidalia onions, accounting for an estimated 11% of the 2017 crop.
